Abstract (EN)

Steel Hardox 400 304 Investigation of Plasma Arc Weldıng Processes With Double Transfer of in Joining In this study to apply different type of welding parameters between Hardox 400 Steel and AISI 304 Stainless Steel by using Plasma Transfer Arc Welding which is most suitable in applications. In experiments using Hardox 400 Steel and AISI 304 Steels which are 4 mm thickness. Specimens making welding process by using butt welding and do not use any additional materials different welding parameters at horizontal position. After welding processes specimens were made destructive and non-destructive methods. Mechanical properties and microstrucures were searched by tensile test methods, optic microscopy and SEM methods. Welding zone and heat effect edzone whichare ITAB zone were authenticated for hardness distrubiton by using Vickers Hardness Test Methods. Microstructure of welding zone of specimens were analized by using SEM-EDX. Also, analized that specimen which is applying tensile test determined crack type by SEM. Using non-destructive test analysed to welding line by radiographic and liquid penetrant test. Key Words: Plasma Arc Welding, Hardox 400, AISI 304 Stainless Steel
