Özet (EN)

Vision of map production systems chances steadily in time besides the advancement in sensing system and rapidly increasing spatial information requirements. Parallel to these, mobile mapping systems consisting of several sensors that they can directly produce spatial data are developed by todays map production sector. Nowadays, mobile mapping systems are frequently used for the determination of object position and geometry in many engineering projects. Although they were used for road inventory and capturing its superstructure and surrounding environment and monitoring in their early days. Developing technology and increase in the use of image processing techniques are very important in terms of producing spatial and geometric data. In this study, camera images and exterior orientation parameters were directly obtained by a GPS supported mobile terrestrial photogrammetric positioning system even preventing its remote feature and cheapness against expensive systems mentioned above. Surface models created with these data sets and image processing techniques. The results of produced surface models were analyzed for the usability in volumetric analysis studies. Images were obtained by the system were analyzed by image matching techniques and usability of produced surface models from these analyzes were investigated for the determination of object volumes.
