In the leadership of Atatürk the impact of the public affairs in achieving succes in the alphabeth revolution can not be denied. Atatürk personally arranged journeys to Anatolia, addressed the public, gave speeches and held meetings, he even taught himself to easy the adoptation of the revolution. We can see Atatürk?s great role in the application of the puplic affairs to make this socio¬¬-cultural change an internal issue. The papers of the period like Hakimiyeti-Milliye, Cumhuriyet, İkdam, Vakit, and Akşam have been scanned to see how the issue was handled.
