The effect of the academic succes on the social information lesson in the pre school 7th class with blended learning enviroment

The purpose of this study, to examine that the effects of blended learning environments on students academic achievement. For this purpose, the study was carried out among 71 students who were in the ?Time in development of Science?? part in unit course of social information lesson, in the Department of Elementary Education Scholls in Demirci district in Manisa city in the academic year between of 2010-2011. The students were selected randomly into two groups as experimental and control.The students were selected as the treatment group studied in the blended learning environment 5 lesson hours while control group studied in face to face learning in the classroom environment for 5 lesson hours. Matching-only experimental design with pretest-posttest-retention test with control group was used in the analysis of academic achievement. Used in this study, survey was improved by researcher. Before the experimental process of pre-test was applied to the experimental and control groups. There is no significant difference between the experimental and control groups showed that the t-test results.Research findings showed that the students' academic achievement scores indicate that the blended learning environments.Between the experimental group and control group post-test was applied.The post-test results, application of experimental and control groups shows a significant difference between the experimental group in favor.This difference, blended learning educational environments, in-class face-to-facelearning environments are interpreted according to the form of increased academic success more.
