Abstract (EN)

In first chapter, some descriptions about harmonics, some quantities, general informationabout harmonics and some international standarts are been given due to beginning to subject. In the later chapters in order, overload currents related with harmonics especially in neutralwire, their amplitudes and differences according to different harmonic degrees have beenexplained to build some case which is acceptable for our model. All cases which are going to be explained below are modelled in MATLAB-Simulinkprogram.First of all, case without harmonics modelled according to show how harmonics can produceoverload currents when compared with basic component(50 Hz.)Then, it is assumed that the facility has some degrees of harmonics in some amounts.Effective current and voltage values are been calculated and current voltage graphs are-formed.And at last, these current and voltage values are been transformed into some differentvalues to be used for cable life loss expectancy. The formulas which have been used for life loss expectancy are called Arrhenius formulasand they have been builded some physical relation between overload currents and material lifeloss.K eywor ds: Harmonics, Overload Currents, Neutral Wire, Unbalanced Phase Loading,Arrhenius, MATLAB-Simulink
