Biography, literary personality of Hasan Hilmi, his divan and its analyze

In this study, the divan of the 19th century dervish sheikh Hasan Hilmi was investigated. The study consists of three parts.In the first chapter; the life, intellectual and literary works of Hasan Hilmi and information about his divan is given. Information about his life is available in his literary work. His literary and intellectual personality was analyzed on the basis of his verses and his intellectual world is presented in detail. The information in the National Library Manuscripts? Catalog and general content of the work is given in the paper. In the second chapter, the literary form and the content of the Divan is examined. As a mystical work, Divan of Hasan Hilmi consists of na?ts (poems) . An explanation is given in the introduction for na?ts. In the Divan; verses, hadiths, and mystical elements are located since na?t is a kind of religious work. These subjects are investigated according to their importance and discussed in detail as well. In the third chapter, the transcriptional text of Divan is formed. The method of giving transcription is given beforehand the text.The aim of this study is to show the importance of na?t and the mystical thought of the given period depending on the introduction of the Divan of Hasan Hilmi.Key words: Hasan Hilmi, divan, sufi literature, na?t, affection.
