Abstract (EN)
Aim of this study is to determine and analysis structural health of the current structures, to make damage assessment and to obtain dynamic characteristics using Modal Analysis Methods. This thesis consists of six chapters. In chapter one importance of the structural health monitoring is explained, in chapter two there are previous studies about this subject, chapther three includes general information about vibration of structures and chapter four includes information about damage assesment methods such as Experimental Modal Analysis Method, Operational Modal Analyisis Method and also computer programs used, chapter five includes experimental studies and the final chapter includes results and references. With this study, it is emphasized that experimental methods can easily be used for accurate monitoring of structural health, quick damage assessment and determining structural behavior.
