In Turkey, MoH strives to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare nationwide through education and field surveys. Patient satisfaction is the most important quality indicator of health care provided in the hospital setting. The measurement of patients' satisfaction with hospital services is particularly important since patient satisfaction is generally accepted as a primary determinant of overall hosital performance.The aim of the study was to compare health care satisfaction levels of patients and their companiens admitted the in-patient clinic of a training hospital. Over 6 mounts period, all patients and their conpanies (generally patients? relatives) admitted in the in-patient clinics in a training hospital were requested to complete survey questionnaire. Path analysis and factor analysis were used to explore dimensions of patient satisfaction and underlying relationships among these dimensions. One way analysis of variance and T tests were applied to determine whether observed diffferences between two groups are significiant.This study showed threre is not significant difference beetwen the evaluations of patiens and their companies . This study also investigated dimensions of patient satisfaction and found significant relationship between level of patient satisfaction and willingness to future use of same hospital.
