Özet (EN)

The study is done between January 2007 and November 2008, byusing the clinical samples of patients in different age groups who hadvarious health problems. SDA has been identified by maya productionin cultures among 150 clinical samples. Of these 150 candida isolation,132 has been identified from pregnant and non pregnant women?svaginal swap in obstetrics and gynecology clinics. Eighteen maya hasbeen obtained from patient?s skin, throat swaps and blood samplesfrom different units. The species were determined by observing thecandida species according to candida?s property (germ tube ,chlamidospor, image in chromagar candida, carbohydrate assimilationand fementation reaction, urease test) and API 20 CAUX kits. Candidaisolations were 108(72%) Candida albicans and 42(28%) non albicansCandida, respectively. The other specifies except albicans were C. kefyr(n=32), C. tropicalis (n=5), C. utilis (n=2), C. famata (n=1), C. glabrata(n=1) and C. parapsilosis (n=1), respectively. The virulence factors of candidia are also important forcandidiosis besides the risk factors of the case. For this purpose slaymfactor, phospholipase and acid proteinase are also investigated. In 72 ofthe 108 C. albicans isolations slaym factor were positive. In 24 of 42 (57%) Non-albicans cases biofilm was positive. Generally, in 96 of 150 (64%) candida was positive. Proteinase enzyme was detected positive in53% cases of 150 candida izolation and negative in the rest of thecases. Phospholipase activity in candida types were evaluated byplaque method and were found to be positive in 53 cases (35%) andnegative in 97 cases (65%). At this time in the study group serum`Mannan? antigen is also examined. In all serum samples of 150 caseswith candida mannan antigen was detected.
