The investigation of health tourism awareness of pre-hospital emergency health service professionals, the sample of Antalya

Health tourism is an important fact which has been improving in the world and Turkey. Countries have increased their investments in health sector because of its contributions to economies. Turkey is one of the countries that want to have a global role in the field of health tourism. In this research, the purpose is to determine the level of awareness of the personnel working in pre-hospital emergency health services in Antalya. This research were performed by health professionals working in 112 emergency health services stations in Antalya. The research was performed according to the answers of 406 health employees. Survey proponets were analyzed according to the Institutional Proficiency, Language-Education, Image, The Effect of Health Tourism & Social-Demographic properties. Statistical analysis was done with SPSS 18.0. The level of Alfa Expressiveness was accepted as 0.05. At the end of the research, a significant difference were not observed at the level of awareness of those attending the survey in terms of the variables such as; education, seniority, and job. However, important differences were observed according to the variables such as; age, gender, marital status, income-expense, and getting trained about health tourism. According to the result of the survey, heath tourism has continued its improvement with increase in the quality standarts in the field of health. Health tourists coming to our country make an increase in the number of tourists, and they contribute the economy of Turkey. At the end of the last part, there are proponents about the parts which are thought inadequate.
