A research on the approach of hospital stuff towards the qualifications of a sale person that affects his/her performance

Under the competitive market conditions, it became quite difficult forthe enterprises to sell their products in order to rival its competitors. Howeverthey have to sell so as to survive. They should attach importance tomarketing techniques to find out the potential customers, keep their currentcustomers in hand and convert this process into sales within the marketwhere unlimited products and services are available. They should control thechanges in the market by maintaining a close relation with them.Sales art is the sellers? ability to sell their products/services by meansof the persuasion skill, positive energy and accumulated knowledge. Tasks ofthe salesperson are to find out the customer of the product, inform him of theproduct and ensure a high customer satisfaction. A good salesperson is to beprofessional not only in sales but also in communication, self-recognition, anddetection of needs, solving problems, reception and transmission ofmessages. When making sales today, sales power profile aimed at futurealso becomes increasingly important.With a view to determining the qualifications affecting the performanceof the salesperson, in the research which was conducted in BaşkentUniversity Hospital, expectations of doctor, nurse and purchase personnelwere found by assessing the external appearance of the salesperson andproduct information and the criteria affecting the performance of thesalesperson were determined. Setting out the deficiencies by evaluation ofthese qualifications, taking actions in order to remove these deficiencies andproviding trainings, contributes to the performance of the salesperson.
