Abstract (EN)
Aim: This research; The aim of the study was to investigate the socio-demographic characteristics and the effects of musculoskeletal disorders on work-family conflict. Material and Method: The population of the cross-sectional study consisted of 640 cleaning staff working in Selahaddin Eyyubi State Hospital, Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital and Pediatric Hospital in Diyarbakır. The sample size of the study was determined as 410 people with a power of power analysis, 95% confidence interval, 0.05 error level, 0.25 effect size, 0.95 universe representation power. The prices of the study were collected between September 2018 and July 2019 by face-to-face interviews from the assistant personnel in the hospitals. In order to collect the data, descriptive characteristics form, work-family life conflict scale and Cornell Musculoskeletal Disorders Questionnaire which was prepared by the researcher were used. In the analysis of the data; percentage, number and linear regression technique were used. Results: The frequency, severity, and disability of pain in upper and lower extremities of the assistants working in the hospital during the last one week were found to be effective on the conflict of work-family life. Conclusion: It was determined that some characteristics of the assistants working in the hospital were effective on work-family conflict. In line with these results; ergonomics, appropriate body mechanics, regular physical activity training and solution-oriented suggestions for individuals experiencing work-family conflict.
