Evaluation of spiritual counseling and guidance services conducted in hospitals (Marmara Region example)

The main purpose of this research is to reveal the experiences and opinions of the counselors in the Spiritual Support Unit regarding the service and to evaluate the counseling service in line with these opinions. In this context, the sample of our study consists of Spiritual Support Units in Kocaeli, Sakarya and Istanbul. In this study, in which phenomenology design was used, data were obtained using the interview technique. These interviews consist of questions that aim to reveal how the counselors determine or provide the needs of the patient, the aspects they pay attention to in communication with people, the problems they encounter in counseling, the activities carried out for the development of the counseling.
