Abstract (EN)
Studies on motion analysis and biomechanics have become one of the most interested areas by researchers over the last years with the technological progress. The aim of this study is to draw the 3D coordinate graphics of the best and the worst scoring shootings of the air pistol shooters during the measurements and to evaluate these graphics through kinematic analysis. The study was carried out at the Turkish Olympic Training Center with the volunteer shooters consisting of 5 male and 4 female shooters from Gazi Shooting Club and various shooting clubs in Ankara. The participants were asked to shoot 30 shots in 37 minutes and 30 seconds which is equal to half competition time.. In the study, the Optitrack V120 Trio model stereo camera was used to record the measurements of the air pistol shooters, and the FHAY software, which analyzes the movements of the shooters by photogrammetric method and determines the three-dimensional real-time coordinates of the markers placed on the shooters, was used to make the kinematic analysis of the shooters. After the shootings, the best and worst shots of the shooters were determined according to the scores, and the graphics of the data of these shots were drawn by Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) and they were evaluated according to these graphics. As a result of the evaluations, it has been detected that all shooters have error, each having different errors in the X, Y, Z directional movements of the air pistol's low end that is under the, wrist and elbow points. Upon examining the markers placed on the shooters after the measurements, it was concluded that the mobile parts (air pistol front sight, wrist and elbow) in particular affected the score during the shooting, while the displacement in the coordinates of the other parts were nearly stable.
