Özet (EN)
The sustainability ofatransportnetwork is important. Especially in the presence of alternative transportation facilities in airlines networks, evaluating of airline network sustainability in terms of direct or transshipment flight planning is necessary. This research, to best of our knowledge, is the first to quantify airline network sustainability in the presence changeable capacity of legs and alternative flights. We used Relative Total Cost Indices to assess airline network sustainability in the case of behavior associated with both User and System?Optimization. In this study, passenger?s rout preference behaviors are the main subject. A numerical case study with real data from a Turkish Airline was given for illustration purposes.
