Analysis of the lesson life studies in the sense of interdisciplinary schooling

Interdisciplinarity is targetting the training of discipline extents while building consensus on the point where various discipline contents have regard. Interdisciplinary education which foresees to relate the subjects of a course one another, aims to support the academic success of the child in the education and training process providing that the interdisciplinary education activities are performed systematically, constantly and deliberately. There is an emphasis on interdisciplinary teaching in sections such as aim, acquisition, basic principles, issues to be considered and assessment and evaluation. One of the courses in which this concept is mostly used in education is the Life Science lesson due to its content. In this study, it was aimed to determine the opinions of classroom teachers about the studies regarding the realization of the Life Science course with interdisciplinary teaching. This research is accomplished in 2019- 2020 Academic Year depending upon the remarks of the teachers teaching at the official primary schools in Tokat city center. A structured interview was held with the teacher of the course about qualitative research method. The research data were analyzed with the descriptive analysis technique. According to the findings obtained at the end of the study, it was seen that the teachers used interdisciplinary teaching in their work and activities.
