Abstract (EN)

Power need, increased with improved technology and population, made renewable resources much more important. One of these renewable energy resources is produced by processing waste product.Biogas, which contains mainly methane and carbon dioxide gases, is produced during fermentation process of biomass under the anaerobi condition as a result of various bacterial groups? activities. While organi wastes are treated energy can also be produced via biogas production. I recent years, biogas and biogas technology has become widespread i parallel with the increased interest of renewable energy and environmenta protection criteria. There are a lot of parameters (type of waste product, temperature, mixing, pH, waitin time etc.) effecting the performance of biogas production.Methan gas obtained from anerobic treatment can be combusted as biogas in boiler for steam generation and in ga boiler for power generation. A four-stroke spark ignition engine, the use of biogas as a fuel in an experimental investigation and If biogas is used as fuel in spark ignition engine exhaust emissions have been studied.Key Words: Anaerobic Digestion, Biogas Production, biogas motor fuel
