Determination beta lactamase and resistance of beta lactam's from some of gram positive bacteria

Abstract (EN)
In this study, 80 samples of fermented meat products (fermented sausage, sausage, salami, pastrami), 20 samples of mincedmeat, 30 samples of chicken (10 joint, 10 wing, 10 breast), 20 samples of raw milk, 20 samples of white cheese and 20 samples of ice-cream which are collected from several supermarkets in Ankara were used as material. After isolation and identification Enterococcus and Staphylococcus species, we examined different antibiotic resistances both in respect of the methods of Kirby-Bauer disk duffusion and broth microdilution and beta lactamase production of Staphylococcus species. The distribution rate of 134 Enterococcus strains isolated from fermented meat was 59% E. faecium, 26,1% E. faecalis, 9,7% E. gallinarum, 3,7% E. durans, 0,7% E. avium and 0,7% E. hirae; 230 Staphylococcus strains distribution rate was 23% S. saprophyticus, 14,8% S. cohnii spp. cohnii, 9,1% S. vitulinus, 9,1% S. capitis, 8,7% S. xylosus, 7,8% S. aureus, 6,1% S. haemolyticus, 5,2% S. simulans, 3,9% S. hominis, 3,5% S. epidermidis, 2,6% S. sciuri, 2,2% S. warnerii, 0,9% S. hyicus, 0,9% S. lentus and 0,9% S. cohnii spp. urealyticum, 0,4% S. intermedius, 0,4% S. ludgunensis and 0,4% S. schleiferi. The most resistance rate of Enterococcus strains was rifampin (73,1%), streptomycin (36,6%), ciprofloxacin (35,8%), eritromycin (20,1%), nitrofurantoin (14,9%). Although ampicilin and chloramphenicol resistance wasn?t found only with broth microdilution method, vancomycin resistence wasn?t found both microdiluton and disc difusion methods. The most resistance rate of Staphylococcus species, isolated from milk and milk products was ampicilin (56,4%), meticilin (54,9%), clindamycin and novobiocin (25,3%) and amoxcicillin/clavulanic acid (14,1%). Ciprofloxacin and vancomycin resistence wasn?t found both microdiluton and disc difusion methods. The most resistance rate of Staphylococcus species, isolated from chicken and meat products was meticilin (83%), novobiocin (50,9%), amikacin (45,3%), eritromycin (44,6%), ampicilin (39,6%), tetracycline (35,2%), gentamycin (28,3%), clindamycin (25,2%), chloramphenicol (22%). Vancomycin resistence wasn?t found both microdiluton and disc difusion methods. 124 (53,9%) of 230 identified Staphylococcus isolates was found beta lactamase positive.
