The legal status problem of Caspian

Although the legal status problem of Caspian Sea is based on political reasons, the legal dimension of the issue is also important. Because the Caspian countries taking different approaches to the topic try to establish their claims legally. The necessity of legal solution of the problem is accepted by everyone as well. In this study we tried to research the legal status problem of the Caspian Sea objectively and to examine the reasons of the problem, the historical and modern practice about it, the possible ways and methods of the solution of the issue and the efforts made to solve the problem so far.
