Abstract (EN)
In this study 20 powdered infant formula and 50 raw milk a total of 70 samples which were presented for consumption in Ankara were used as a material and the incidence of Enterobacter sakazakii in samples were evaluated. 150 isolates from 50 raw milk samples and 14 isolates from 20 powdered infant formula a total of 164 Enterobacteriaceae families were isolated. The antibiotic resistances of the identified Enterobacteriaceae isolates, were investigated by Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method. Also proteolytic, lipolytic and DNase enzyme activities of Enterobacter spp. isolates were determined and congo red binding and hemolysis tests were applied. The distribution rates among a total of 150 Enterobacteriaceae family of member isolated from raw milk 33 (22%) Enterobacter spp., 23 (15.3%) Klebsiella spp., 20 (13.3%) Citrobacter spp., 16 (10,7%) Proteus spp., 15 (10%) Escherichia spp., 10 (6.7%) Serratia spp., 9(6%) Hafnia spp., 6(4%) Providencia spp., 5(3.3%) Kluyvera spp., 4 (2.7%) Yersinia spp., 4(2.7%) Morgonella spp., 3 (%2) Pantoea and 2 (1.2%) Xenothablus spp. and the distribution rates among a total of 14 Enterobacteriaceae family of member isolated from powdered infant formula 6 (42.8%) Proteus spp., 4 (28.6%) Providencia spp., 2 (14.3%) Escherichia coli ve 2 (14.3%) Enterobacter spp. From a total of 35 Enterobacter spp. 7 (20%) , 18 (51.4%) , 20 (57.1%) , 20 (57.1%) and 23 (65.7%) isolates were positive for protease, lipase, DNase, Congo Red binding and hemolyse testes respectively. From a total of 164 Enterobacteriaceae members of isolates showed 44.5, 44.5, 41.5, 38.4, 26.3% of resistance for amoksisilin-clavulanic acid and ampisilin, streptomycine, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole respectively and 98.8, 95.7, 93.3% susceptible for ciprofloxacin, amikacin and imipenem, kanamycin, chloramphenicol respectively. In addition to this isolates were 100% susceptible to tobramycin and gentamicin.Key Words : Raw milk, powdered infant formula, E. sakazakii, microbial risk
