Abstract (EN)

In the first part of this study, in which the subject of polygamy is discussed in the context of hadiths, Hz. We discussed the concept of ta'addüd-i zavcât in the understanding of the Prophet and tried to clarify the subject both with his life and with the messages he gave. We have made a brief evaluation of the verses related to the subject by referring to the reasons for the subject of taadüd-i zavcât, which we have pointed out to its place in societies from history to the present. In the second part of our study, we have discussed in detail the subject of ta'addüd-i zavcât in the hadiths, which is the main source. We focused on the reasons and wisdoms of the marriages of the Prophet for social, political, legal and scientific purposes. Especially Hz. The first wife of the Prophet, Hz. We discussed her long monogamous life with Hatice and her experiences in this marriage. Also, St. Ali's Hz. While he was married to Fatima, Abu Jahl's desire to marry his daughter, Juwayriye, and Hz. We focused on the Prophet's opposition to this marriage. Hz. We tried to evaluate why the Prophet himself did not allow his daughter to experience such a situation even though she was polygamous. In the third part, where we also focus on the reasons for polygamy; In our study, Hz. We have discussed the criticisms of the Prophet, both in his own time and in the following periods, and especially today. Finally, by giving traditional and modern approaches to the subject of polygamy, we touched upon the dimensions of the issue today and in our country. Keyword: Family, Hz. Hatice, Hadith, Hz.
