Evaluation of foreign policy perceptions of political parties in the Iraqi Kurdish regional government

In this study, the views of the political parties operating within the KRG on the actors determining the KRG's foreign policy, the factors affecting its foreign policy, and its relations with regional and global powers were evaluated. The interview method was used in the study, and within this framework, 12 people from 6 political parties, including distinguished party members such as the presidential advisor, senior party officials, members of parliament, and journalists, were interviewed. The interviewees were asked who the actors determining the KRG's foreign policy were, what the factors affecting its foreign policy were, relations with regional and global powers, and their thoughts specifically about Turkey. Thus, an attempt was made to create a projection of the perceptions of the political parties in the KRG regarding foreign policy.
