Özet (EN)
h- BN is a wide optical energy band gap III- V compound with remarkable physical properties and chemical stability. In this study; UV, FT- IR and fluorecence properties were investigated of h- BN which is an advanced product. With this aim XRD, FT- IR and SEM analysis were done for evaluate of purity and honeycomb and layered structure of boron nitride. The samples were compacted as pellets, and pellets were heated at 800 K under vacuum for a period of 12 hours to avoid organic impurities and traces of water. Then optical absorption measurements and fluorecence measurements in intensity values were evaluated of pellets at room temperature. Handed results have been accordanced with literature results. It has been concluded that determination of semi- conductor specification of h- BN can be take place in electrical and electronical applications.Key Words : boron, hBN, spectrophotometric property
