Abstract (EN)

Heidegger's original criticism towards the tradition of Western metaphysical thinking provides an insight into the basic concepts of the tradition and presents a path about how his philosophical thinking that goes along with these concepts will be addressed. The most striking point that is reached when this path is followed is the "forgetting of Being". According to Heidegger, what is it to be done in the light of such a determination is, first, a criticism of the basic determinations that cause the limitation and misinterpretation of Being. In this sense, it is necessary to acknowledge that the question of "Why are there beings at all instead of nothing?" is the foundation and source of every problem. Heidegger, in this way, expresses how the forgotten meaning in the context of Being / becoming, seeming, thinking and ought undergoes a deformation. As a way out of this, it is necessary to make a return to the meditative thinking and to leave the calculative thinking, characteristic of the Western tradition of metaphysical thinking. Heidegger states that the enfarming, which is the essence of the modern technique in modern era, derives from this calculative thinking, which is the tradition of Western metaphysical thinking and categorizes everything into certain technical templates. The fact that the concepts that are translated from the Greeks are disconnected from the roots causes the deepening of the forgottenness of the Being. The understanding of the essence of the modern technique, which is defined as enframing, is especially possible through the description of the concept of techne. In other words, that how the techne, as a kind of knowing, is transformed into modern technology, can only be revealed through the use of the concept in ancient Greek. Thus, it is necessary to recognize the stalemate created by the modern technique and to reveal the path that goes to the redemptive power. Heidegger states that this awareness is possible through the anxiety that is a fundamental mood. Dasein, which comes out of this ordinary state of everydayness with the anxiety heads towards the redemptive power, the art, where the Truth appears.
