Abstract (EN)
Halal food has the potential to direct consumer attitudes and behaviours. In addition to personal preferences, religious sensitivities are effective in consumers food preferences. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of halal food practices on consumer behaviour. In the study, a survey was conducted with the participation of 407 people. It was concluded that halal food practices differ according to variables such as age, gender, occupation, monthly income. The results of the study show that halal food directs consumers attitudes and behaviours with the idea that it is safer. According to the results of the study, halal food certificate has the potential to direct consumers' behaviours about halal food. The results of the study are limited to the results given by 407 participants. Keywords: Halal food, Consumer behaviour, Halal certificate.
