The effect of animation services offered at halal concept hotels on customer satisfaction

The concept of tourism, which emerged with people starting to travel for different purposes, is becoming an important industry by developing day by day. One of the most important reasons for this growth is that it serves the needs of people. The developing tourism industry has started to come together with different concepts according to the demands of technology and people. With halal tourism, which is one of these concepts, mostly Muslim tourists have started to be more involved in the tourism industry. Islamic rules and beliefs are important in the hotel selection of devoted tourists who participate in tourism activities. In this thesis, it is aimed to measure the satisfaction of the devoted tourists who serve with the halal tourism application or participate in the recreational activities offered in the hotel business that is functional with this application. In this context, the importance given to tourism by the religion of Islam has been examined and it has been seen that the verses of the Quran clearly encourage tourism. In addition, the place and importance of halal tourism, which is a tourism application, in the world and in Turkey has been examined. This situation has been revealed with statistical data by emphasizing that halal tourism is a large and growing market. In line with this information, a questionnaire was developed to apply to halal concept hotel businesses. First of all, a pilot application was made with the developed questionnaire. The obtained data were rearranged and applied to 400 participants in the original application. Care was taken to select the participants from individuals participating in recreational activities. As a result of the research, the effect of the tourist satisfaction and the attractiveness of the business has emerged in the recreational activities that offer different experiences to the tourists coming to the tourism enterprises and are developed for the tourists to have a fun time. Suggestions were developed with these data. Based on these findings, some suggestions for the public and related businesses are presented.
