Abstract (EN)
In this study, the morphological structures of hemocytes (blood cells) in the 3 rd,4 th, 5 th and 6 th larval and prepupa stages of Heliothis armigera of Noctuidaefamily belonging to Lepidoptera order were investigated by means of the lightmicroscopy. The prohemocytes, coagulocytes, plasmatocytes, oenocytoids andspherule blood cells were detected in the 3 rd, 4 th, 5 th, 6th larval and prepupastages of Heliothis armigera. The vermiform cells, that were not seen in the otherstages, were observed in 5 th, 6th and prepupa stages. The final data werecompared to the hemocytes that were observed in the larval and prepupa stagesof other insect species.
