Hemipleji hastalarında fiziksel aktivite ve depresyonun incelenmesi

This study aimed to investigate the physical activity and depression in hemiplegia after stroke. This study was conducted with 29 (17 F, 12 M) ambulators and physically active participants between the ages of 29-83 and between May 2020 and May 2021. For the assessment; the Demographic Characteristics of Participants Form is used for the information of age, height, weight, the period after stroke, affected side and types of stroke. Modified Rankin Scale was used for identifying disability levels. Functional Ambulation Classification was used for ambulation evaluation. Stroke Impact Scale version 3.0 was used for multidimensional stroke outcomes evaluation. The short version of IPAQ was used to analyze physical activity levels. Beck's Depression Inventory was used to measure characteristic attitudes and symptoms of depression. Barthel Index was used to measure disability or dependence in activities of daily living in stroke patients. Statistical analysis was made using SPSS 26.0 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Factors that affect PA was; disability level, ambulation level, communication skills, ADL, mobility and participation in activities (p<0.05). Factors that affect depression was; disability level, ambulation level, ADL, mobility and participation in activities and additionally to all these; strongly emotional state (p<0.05). Additionally, the results of this study show that there is a relationship between physical activity and depression in females and in hemorrhagic type of stroke. Additionally; disability level, ambulation level, activities of daily living, mobility and participation of activity have been found in association with physical activity and depression. (p<0.05).
