Determination of professional self-esteem and ethical sensitivity levels in nurses

Abstract (EN)

This research was planned as cross-sectional and descriptive in order to determine the levels of nurses' professional self-esteem and ethical sensitivity and the relationship between these two variables. The research will be conducted with nurses working at Yozgat City Hospital between April 2024 and October 2024. No sample selection will be made in the study, and the research will be completed with volunteer nurses who meet the research criteria. The data to be obtained in the research; It will be collected with the Introductory Information Form created for nurses, the Professional Self-Esteem Scale, and Byrd's Ethical Sensitivity Test for Nurses (BHYEDT). The data will be evaluated on a computer using the SPSS 21 package program. Numerical data; It will be given as number, percentage, average, min-max. Data that comply with normal distribution will be evaluated with independent sample T Test, One Way Anova Test and student T test, and data that do not comply with normal distribution will be evaluated with Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis test. Evaluation of the relationship between the scales will be made by correlation analysis.
