Abstract (EN)
Objective: The aim of the study is to determine the level of intention of leaving the units, organizations and professions of the nurses working in the hospital and to examine the predictive variables. Methods: The population of the study is 1636 nurses working at two university hospitals and a public hospital in İzmir. The data were collected by using the questionnaire including the questions about demographic characteristics, intention to leave the unit, organizations and proffesions, workload and job satisfaction; "Collegial Nurse–Physician Relationships Scale" and "Colleague Relationship Perception Scale". To analyze of data descriptive statistics, Pearson's chi-square test, Spearman correlation analysis and logistic regression were used. Results: Determinants of intention to leave the unit; job satisfaction, years of working at the unit and profession, perceived colleague relationships and workload. The determinants of intention to leave the organization; job satisfaction, years of working at the unit, workload and colleague relationships. Determinants of intention to leave the profession; job satisfaction, years of working at the unit, colleague relationships and marital status. Conclusion: The common determinants of intention to unit, organization and profession are job satisfaction, years of working at the unit and colleague relationships. Strategies should be planned to increase job satisfaction and the colleague relationships in reducing the intention to leave.
