In the study, "Introductory Information Form", "Compassion Scale" and "Spiritual Perception Scale" are used as data collection tools. The data are processed and analyzed using SPSS 21 package program. Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA test, correlation analysis and frequency analysis are perfomed for the determination of descriptive characteristics for the analyses. It is determined that 74.1% of the participants are women, 25.9% are men, 74.1% are single, 25.9% are married, 43.5% are in the 18-25 age group, 41.6% are in the 26-33 age group and the remaining participants were in the 34-41 and 42-49 age groups, 74.5% of them working in the profession for 0-5 years. It is found that 83.9% of the participants did not participate in any training related to spiritual care, and 85.5% did not participate in any training related to compassionate care. It is determined that 83.5% of the nurses thought that training on spiritual care and compassionate care is necessary. As a result of the analyses, statistically significant differences are found between the perceptions of nurses familiar with the concept of spiritual care and nurses who think that such training is necessary. When the relationship between the perception of spiritual support, compassion and its sub-dimensions are examined, a statistically significant and positive relationship is found between all variables. A positive relationship has been found between the nurses' perceptions of spiritual support and their compassion levels. It has been determined that nurses are familiar with these concepts but do not have sufficient training.
