NURSES' OPINIONS ON THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ANXIETY SCALE IN NURSING This research was carried out in a methodological design using qualitative and quantitative methods in order to determine nurses' opinions on the use of artificial intelligence technology and accordingly develop the Artificial Intelligence Anxiety Scale in Nursing. The research was conducted in two stages. The research was conducted in two stages.In the qualitative phase, individual in-depth interviews were conducted with 41 nurses and data were collected using the Semi-Structured Interview Form. In the quantitative phase, the Introductory Information Form and the "Draft Artificial Intelligence Anxiety Scale in Nursing" were applied to 515 nurses. Qualitative data were analyzed with MAXQDA 2022, and quantitative data with IBM SPSS 25 and AMOS 24 programs. As a result of the qualitative analysis, nurses' opinions and concerns; It is grouped under three main themes and 19 sub-themes: "The Effects of Artificial Intelligence Technologies on Health Services," "The Effects of Artificial Intelligence Technologies on Nursing Services" and "Concerns About the Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies".In line with these findings and the literature, a draft scale with 43 items was prepared; The content validity index was determined as 0.778. As a result of Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis, it was revealed that the scale consists of four sub-dimensions and 24 items. Sub-dimensions; These are called "Professional Identity and Future Concern", "Technical Support and Security Concern", "Learning and Adaptation Concern" and "Patient-Centered Care and Empathy Concern".In reliability analysis, Cronbach Alpha coefficient was found to be 0.96 for the total scale and 0.80-0.96 for the sub-dimensions; With the test-retest method, it was determined that the scale was stable and reliable over time. As a result, the Artificial Intelligence in Nursing Anxiety Scale can be used as a valid and reliable measurement tool to evaluate nurses' concerns about artificial intelligence.
