Abstract (EN)

Henryk Wieniawski is a Polish violin virtuoso of romantic period who has made solid innovations in violin history. He is also known as a pioneer composer who has composed a number of masterpieces. Following his education received in Paris, Wieniawski went to Russia and studied on various violin techniques. He has created a brand new perspective for violin technique by blending the violin techniques employed at Franco-Belgian and Russian violin schools. Such new techniques he has created have found global acceptance and been in use over time. In addition, Wieniawski used such techniques very often in his works that have various structures. The life of Wieniawski, the said Polish violin virtuoso and composer, has been reviewed in this study. This study also analysis Wieniawski's works composed for violin and piano on a technical and musical basis, and covers his influence on violin schools prevalent in various places around the world where he lived and visited for performances.
