The analysis of Henryk Wieniawski's D Moll Violin Concerto

In this study, world-wide composer and violin virtuoso Henryk Wieniawski's life, his career and the D minor violin concerto which has an important value in the violin repartoire has been examined and study techniques has been exhibited. The first section is a brief summary of music history in Poland and important Polish composers lives. The second section is a biographical research on the life and works of Henryk Wieniawski. The third part starts with a brief description and historical background of concerto and some information has been given about the D minor concerto of Henryk Wieniawski. In the fourth part, the concerto's structural analysis has been done and in the last part of the study, the study techniques and practice methods has been offered that would be helpful while interpreting the piece. The creation of this thesis, previously written theses, native and foreign sources and datas that published on the internet has been used.
