Material Method: We have investigated retrospectively 54 patient who heve been transplated due to HBV+HDV between march 2013 and june 2013 in liver transplant institute in Inonü Universty. The positivity of HDV Ag was determined as HBV+HDV at viral serology before transplantation. Findings: 54 patients who were included to research were found to have HBVand HDV before tarnsplantation. The avarage mean age of patients was 54.31±10.97 . The meanfol-low up time was 5 years Results: The relapse of HBV after transplantation is a major problem for transplantation patients. Result of our prophylaxis programme which were implicated in our clinic, the proportion of relapse is less than value which was compared with literatüre. In the condition of HDV co-infection before transpalntation, even the relapse of HBV was not statistically significant, the relapse of HBV were detected with less proportion. After tranplantation no patient is detected the relapse. Consequently it were found that in cases which have HBV and HDV co-infection was not been detected the relapse of HBV infection as well as HDV infection with appropiate medical treatment in the posttransplantation period.
