Abstract (EN)
The developments in information technology and their reflections in the digital environment enable to design alternatives which are not possible in the design process by traditional methods and transform the design process. The relationship between design and production changes; In the design process, a more holistic approach is replaced by the bony separation between form, structure, and material. This holistic approach is solved by digital design alternatives. These alternatives include parameterism; It is a design method that shapes all the elements of architecture depending on the mathematical data and designs that can be articulated. Study; within the scope of the parameterism approach, an experimental surface study proposal has been developed which can produce various form alternatives. The suggestion offered to different users consists of parameters that can be changed during the design process, and formal alternatives are produced with combinations of these parameters. The method developed to identify and derive productive relationships with variable inputs is presented to the designer as a relational system organization that will generate possible designs. The formal diversity produced by this numerical based method, which allows subjectivity in design, is questioned by the logical system, which is the research method that can analyze subjective responses. Research; At the intersection of design and technology, he questions the role of technological tools in expanding the design options and how they can be used by the designer. In the field study section; In the computational design process, the survey study, which is prepared with an approach that enables the dialogue between design and technology, is discussed in relation to the preliminary designers of the subject and the designs they produce. In the survey study, the questions which investigate the reasons of architectural language formation in the first design phase and the approaches to the design process, and an undefined experimental surface created within the framework of algorithmic logic are presented. Priority was given to defining the design logic of the process in a systematic framework. In this design, the controllability of the algorithm provides the specificity of the generated form. The surface design that constitutes the scope of the study is introduced to the designers with the field study; it is envisaged that they will create unique, different quality and variety of products. Study; by creating a platform between designer, design process and technology, it is ensured that parameters such as size and material are variable. Thus, it was possible to design a function with a function that was not previously defined. Designer; While designing, it is observed that the interface can observe the product that it wants to create on the screen and by changing its mind during the observations, it obtains formal alternatives from another dimension or material. The design process has been tried with the participation of designer and technology, and the formation process of the different designers has been questioned and discussed with the experimental approach in the context of the logical argumentation method and the manifesto of parametricism.
