The study for settings hydraulic power plant

Key Words: Hydroelectric Energy, Hydroelectric Foundations, The Selection Turbine, Dimentioning of Turbines This thesis is studied for generating electricity from Mudurnu River. A lake, in Munsurlar near Mudurnu River, is planned by waylaid of water with a regulator. Water gathered will be carried by pipelines from lake to a central headquarter set in Pazarkoy and electricty will be generated with units in the central headquarter. Topographical and geological and geodesical studies are complated in the area of pipelines where the Project is constitiued and hydroelectric power plant and concerned in detail in the Project. Turbine is selected by calculating loads and values which is related to turbine are calculated. By selecting a different turbine, differences between two turbines are studied. Besides, other characteristics related to hydroelectrics power plants are defined. At the end a conclusion is defined by preparing a detailed cost analsys with those characteristics.
