Abstract (EN)
Hydro power plant projects that use our countries primary renewable energy source water, first investment cost is seen as high, however they have been cheap generation cost and foreign independent. Safety for energy systems is one of the important factors for facility`s economy and time losses are decreased in view of today's technological conditions. Safety is related with subsystems and equipments safety. This thesis study include speed governing system's operation and reliability analysis in hydro power plant turbine control system. Besides, safety functions has recommended for system's critical risks and reliability analysis have been done.
