Evaluation of hygiene chemicals in terms of occupational HEALTH and safety

Hygiene is an important issue in Occupational Health and Safety. The infectious disease epidemic, which has become a pandemic since the beginning of 2019, has also seriously affected the efficiency of the enterprises and efforts to increase efficiency have increased. The importance of hygiene in businesses has emerged more clearly. Hygiene chemicals are also used to provide hygiene. Examining the most frequently used hygiene chemicals in businesses constitutes the study area of our thesis. By examining the national legislation and standards, it has been investigated whether the legal regulations in our country for hygiene chemicals are sufficient. The properties and toxic values of the chemicals in the composition of these substances are emphasized. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the hygiene chemicals to be used by the enterprises should be preferred with the least amount of chemical content and those with the approval of the relevant ministries should be used.
