Life and novels of Hikmet Erhan Bener

Hikmet Erhan Bener (1929-2007) is a novelist who wrote around forty literary works in different areas of literature in republican era. In this study his first period novels are examined with Prof. Dr. Sadık Tural?s examine method of litarary fiction. In this thesis firstly his life is focused on, and then his first period novels are examined and finally his perspective on art and novel writing are evaluated. In this way structure, theme, content and language feature in his novels are determined.
