Abstract (EN)
As a generalization of the local compact groups, the hypergroups are introduced by Jewett in 1975. The general information about this concept is given by Bloom and Heyer in "Harmonic Analysis of Probability Measures on Hypergroups". In this thesis, the definition and some properties of hypergroups and subhypergroups are given. Moreover, the measure spaces and convolution products which are necessary for hypergroups are investigated.
