Cloud-GIS integrated facility management applications: a case study on Eskisehir underground infrastructure

Infrastructural studies in Turkey are made in an irregular and unplanned way which is similiar to superstructural studies. However since the whole good and bad studies are beneath the ground, it?s not possible to notice there are problems with the construction until a defect takes place. During the construction process of casually and in place planned underground facilites, some damage may be done to the facilities which are made by other companies. This may cause material damage. Fortunately right after the sprawl of fuel oil usage around the world, mentioned situation has been progressed but there are not any maps shared between underground construction companies over any platform yet. When a new underground construction is being made, people needs an employee who had been worked in that field before. However if that employee can?t be found, they do the construction casually. Altough this conventional method is used, it can cause dramatic problems in future. Therefore integrated information system is needed. This study presents a comprehensive Cloud GIS tool which stands for modern underground constructions.
