Abstract (EN)

In this study, Hofmann-type M(1,10-diaminodecane)Ni(CN)4 complex and M(1,10- diaminodecane)Ni(CN)4.1.5G (M=Co, Ni orCd ; G=chlorobenzene, 1,2-, 1,3-, 1,4- dicholobenzene) clathrate compounds with Hofmann-Td-type Cd(hexametylenimine)2 M'(CN)4, Cd(piperazine)M'(CN)4 ve Cd(propylenediamine)2 M'(CN)4 (M'=Cd or Hg) complex and Cd(hexametylenimine)2M'(CN)4.2Bz, Cd(piperazine)M'(CN)4.nG (n=1.25 for G=Bz, n=1 for G=Ace) and Cd(propylenediamine)2 M'(CN)4.2Bz clathrate compounds have been obtained for the first time. The infrared spectra all these compounds have been recorded between 4000-200 cm'1 region and from these spectra, the vibrational modes of ligand molecules, Ni(CN)42" and M'(CN)42" (M'=Cd or Hg) ions and guest molecules have been assigned. This study pointed out that, a) The structures of these compounds were found to be similar to those of Hofmann and Td-type compounds. b) In Hofmann and Hofmann-Td-type complex compounds, ligand molecules are coordinated to M metal from N donor atom. c) In clathrates, guest molecules are trapped in a and p cavities. Science Code : 404.03.01 Keywords : Clathrates and complexes benzene, acetone, chlorobenzene, 1,2-dichlorobenzene, 1,3-dichlorobenzene, 1,4-dichlorobenzene, 1,10-diaminodecane, hexametylenimine, piperazine, 1,2-diaminopropane, IR and Raman spectroscopy
