Özet (EN)

17. In the 19th century Dutch and Flemish Painting, Ottoman carpets were examined and master thesis study was composed of two parts. In the first part, the subjects in Dutch and Flemish painting were studied. Biographies of painters working in their paintings are included. The style of the painter was tried to be analyzed by each painter and the viewer was tried to be introduced. In the paintings we mostly see the daily life of the people of the period, music scenes, letters, people who read letters, children and caregivers or their mothers, geographers or historians, sailors and sea life, landscape pictures and few religious subjects are the descriptions we see in the paintings. Most women and children appear in the paintings. It may be because the man of the house was away from home on a long sea voyage. In addition, in this region, where professional guilds are very common, portraits of guild members and group portraits are among the most demanded picture speakers. In the first part, the biographies of the nineteenth painter have been discussed and nineteenth paintings have been analyzed. It was observed that the space, the posture of the human figures, the clothes of the figures, the symbolic expression of animals and all kinds of objects, which were used mostly, had a corresponding secret meaning. The reasons for the use of this symbolic form of expression were revealed as a result of the researches that the social religion was moral. In the second section, according to the carpet types of the paintings are collected under six headings. Under these headings, nineteen painters and twenty-two paintings were analyzed.
