Özet (EN)
In this master thesis, the number of trees, breast heights and entity of trees were investigated in 24-25 year old oriental beech stands growth as thickly and sparsely.Artificial regeneration carried out in 1984 and 1985 years in these oriental beech stands. After cutting of the old trees from the stand, litter layer clearance and cultivation were accomplished. Two years old seedlings were planted in regeneration fields. Afforestation were accomplished planting thickly 7500 n/ha seedling one part of the area and planting sparsely 2500 n/ha seedlings another part of the area. Until the year of 2008, there were not any silvicultural activity were carried out.Within the investigation, 15 sample plots of thickly growth stands and 15 sample plots of sparsely growth stands were determined. The space of each sample plots was 400 m2. Measurements of breast height diameter and tree height carried out in the sample plots. The data were evaluated with SPSS statistical program. Data were classified according to diameter class and differentials between diameter classes executed with ANOVA analyses. The groups of different class executed Duncan tests. The survival rate in thickly growth stands as 85% and 99% as in sparsely growth stands were determined. Breast heights were determined as 23,65 m2/ha in thickly growth stands and 20,2 m2/ha in sparsely growth stands. In addition, entity of trees in thickly and sparsely growths stands achieved as 93,725 m3/ha and 91,825 m3/ha respectively.
