Abstract (EN)
In the Kilis region, intensive production activities are carried out specifically for the rooster black variety, but studies specific to this variety have never been carried out in the Kilis region before. In this study, it was determined that different levels of cluster thinning applications (S1: 20 bunches, /vine; S2: 16 bunches/vines; S3: 12 bunches/vines; S4: 8 bunches/vines; S5: 4 bunches/vines) on yield and quality parameters. Within the scope of the study, the effects of different cluster dilution applications on cluster weight, grain weight, grain width, grain size, pH, SCKM (water-soluble dry matter), total acidity, total phenolic substance content and total antioxidant capacity in grapes were analyzed and evaluated. According to the findings obtained, S2 application in terms of grain width (21 mm), cluster weight, cluster length parameters, S3 in terms of grain length and hundred grain weight, and S1 in terms of cluster width and yield per vine came to the fore. When the effects of cluster dilution on chemical and physiological properties were examined, it was determined that although there was no significant difference between the values obtained in terms of pH, total acidity (TA), SCKM and maturity index (OI), cluster dilution application at S3 level had the highest values in terms of both total phenolic substance content and total antioxidant capacity on phytochemical parameters. Therefore, this study is a guide for everyone who carries out production activities in the region. In addition, there is information that will provide significant guidance for future studies.
