The effect of humic-fulvic acid and amino acid on the yield and quality of curly leaf head salad

This work; humic-fulvic acid and amino acid separately and together with the application at different doses (control, 2000, 4000, 6000 and 8000 ml/da) in order to determine the effect on the yield and quality of curly-leaf head salad in farmer greenhouse conditions in district of Finike, Antalya between September 2018 and January 2019. Bombola (AG Seed) curly leaf head salad variety was used as plant material in the experiment. The Seeds were sown on 15 September 2018 and, seedlings were transplanted at October 2018, and they were harvested on 13 January 2019. In this study, some yield and quality characteristics of curly leaf head salad were investigated. According to the findings of the study, the effect of humic-fulvic acid and amino acid separately and together with the doses and the effect of doses were found to be statistically significant in all parameters except titratable acid. The highest total plant weight (1164.33 g) was obtained from a dose of 4000 ml/da of humic-fulvic acid + amino acid application. The highest marketable plant weight (854.67 g), head length (27.67 cm) and head diameter (22.33 cm) were determined at 8000 ml/da amino acid application. The highest pH (6.32) was determined in the control application, while the highest amount of soluble solid dry matter (% 3.73) was obtained from humic-fulvic acid and amino acid application.
