Husain Baiqara and his time

Hüseyin Baykara (one of the Timurid Sultans), whose breed dates back to emperors like Tamerlane Khan and Genghis Khan, was born in Herat in 1438. He lost his father when he was just seven and he went to Ebu?l Kasım Babür when he turned fourteen. At that time, Baykara joined the second campaign Babür had against Samarkand in 1454 and stayed with Ebu Said. Later, with the rebellion of Mirza Üveys, Ebu Said captured thirteen relatives of himself whom he doubted and also Hüseyin Baykara with them. After having heard of this, Firuze Begim, the mother of Baykara, had her son released and Baykara returned to Ebul Kasım Babür once again. After the death of Babür in the spring of 1457, Baykara went to Merv Ruler Mirza Sencer and married his daughter. Sencer let the management of Merv to Baykara when he set off to Meşet in the summer of 1457. Even though Baykara tried to seize Merv in the absence of Mirza Sencer , he couldn?t manage it. After that, bereaving Astarabat from Hüseyin Türkmen the nephew of Cihan Shah, Baykara couldn?t hold on there and receded to Khwarezm after the departure of Cihan Shah from Herat. Baykara seized Hive and the neighbourhood by defeating the men of Ebu Said. He asked for help from the Uzbek Emperor Ebu?l Hayr Khan in 1468. However, because of the death of Ebu?l Hayr Khan in a short time this help was not provided. Afterwards Hüseyin Baykara , attacking the territory under the control of Ebu Said Mirza, seized Herat after the death of Ebu Said in 1469 and had sermon given in his own name. Although Yadigar Mohammed took a hold of the Herat Throne for a short time, Baykara had him killed and repossessed Herat. Hüseyin Baykara struggled with some dynasty mirzas in the first phases of his 36 years rulership, later on he had to handle with the rebellions of his own offspring . Making Herat a capital of Culture, the death of Baykara in 1506 while the Uzbek assaults were going on expedited the matters and Uzbek Sultan Şibani Khan eliminated The Timurid Dynasty.
