Abstract (EN)
Utopia and anti-utopia are concepts which are reversed in meaning. Utopia reflects an ideal social order while anti-utopia tells a dark social order. Dystopias that described as anti-utopias have given their most influential works in twentieth-century and affected the social order deeply. Zamyatin, Huxley and Orwell are the most influential writers of the dystopian genre. Dark worlds which they created has contributed to the development of dystopia greatly. In their work technological dependence and securitization are utmost at foreground. A whole range of changes has been taking place on work life according to changing modern-day conditions. A progressive society was created using technology but at the expense of people's thinking capacity. A new social order was formed as an outcome of this and came to life as "Web Society". The purpose of our study is to investigate the effects of the perception of web society on today's work environment. Qualitative research and literature review were used in our study. And according to this research, we concluded that web society which is a new social order affects work life negatively. Besides this, we also concluded the importance of dystopian works for the current order and positive value given to the work order stated in dystopias. In our study, researches and examinations were done using qualitative research method. Our study was based on scanning method and descriptive research method was used. In our study, three anti-utopias were chosen as examples. Findings were collected using written documents and document examination methods. Obtained findings were explained according to scientific research rules and finalized with deductions. We concluded that the new form of society known as web society affects the working life negatively. Besides that, the importance of working order in dystopias and positive value given to working orders stated in dystopias were understood.
