The sample was compriosed from the 70old people who live at Gaziantep Resthouse between 1-15 October 2004. In order tocollect data, a form that includes socio-demographic variables and information aboutthe older people was used. It was desipred by the researcher. Pittsburg Sleep QualityScale was used in order to determine the sleep quality levels. Independent Samples t-test, one way Anova and percentage calculation methods were used in evaluation ofthe data gained.According to the results; there wasn?t any relation between the sleep quality andsocio-demographic variables (p>0,05).Key Words: Resthouse, elderness, sleep quality.
